Setting up RC

Before starting Role Compatibility (RC) configuration your should read the RC description.

There are several administration tools for RC:

Tool Name Description
rc_get_item Get role or type items
rc_set_item Set role or type items
rc_copy_role Copy complete role with all its rights
rc_copy_type Copy complete type with all rights to it
rc_get_current_role Get your current role
rc_get_eff_rights_fd Get your current rights to filesystem object
rc_role_wrap Start program with other role


Additionally, there are attributes for all objects.
